Position Summary

Reports to: Vice President, Marketing & Menu Development

Overall Marketing Goal: To drive profitable sales and guest count growth

The role of the Triple O’s Marketing Manager is to oversee the development, communication, execution & evaluation of a broad range of responsibilities that maintain & build on the strengths of the brand.

Based in Vancouver, this 14-month maternity leave full-time position will provide the candidate with a wide variety of responsibilities for Triple O’s – a growing & successful premium QSR restaurant brand both domestically and internationally. This opportunity is well suited for a brand savvy, energetic, results & team oriented individual who loves the restaurant industry, welcomes challenges, thrives in an often intense & fast-paced environment, has excellent communication & organizational skills, and is comfortable working with guests, operators, agency partners, suppliers & internal stakeholders, including senior executives. This position will work closely with the Triple O’s Operations team, internal departments and agency partners.



·        Marketing Plan & Budget Development

·        Working with the VP of Marketing, develops & executes the annual marketing plan/calendar, budget, media, PR & research

·        Brand Management

·        Uphold brand identity in all communications internally & externally, from restaurant interiors to POS & media (traditional & social)

·        Menu Development

·        Working with the VP of Marketing & Menu Development team, develops the annual core & promotional menu development plan

·        Manages the Culinary Council process

·        Feature Promotions

·        Working with our agency partners, leads the creative development, media & point of sale support ensuring strategic brand alignment

·        Involved in pricing promotional menu items, ensuring they are achieving stated financial targets

·        Digital & Social Media Strategy

·        Working with our agency partners and internal teams, development of annual digital strategy and plan, including new technology opportunities

·        Oversee content calendar and plan execution

·        Triple O’s Website

·        Develop, manage & oversee the website marketing plan/content including mobile

·        Oversee new website development plan ensuring key pillars & objectives are met

·        Corporate Social Responsibility Initiatives

·        Manages KidSport CSR program including annual fundraising platform in restaurant, media & PR

·        Manages all other CSR inquiries

·        Gift Card Program

·        Manages all GC sales channels & communications

·        Domestic & International Growth

·        Works with the VP of Marketing & Internal Departments on the execution of the Triple O’s growth plan

·        Local Store Marketing

·        Works closely with Operations and Restaurant Managers on the development of “turn key” LSM tools to build sales & transaction growth

  •  Special projects as assigned by VP Marketing 

Required Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will have the following:

·        A marketing or business administration diploma or degree with a minimum of 5 years marketing experience – Quick Service or Full-Service Restaurant and/or retail experience an asset

·        Proven ability to manage multiple projects that are delivered on time & on budget

·        Excellent organization & planning skills

·        Strong written & oral communication skills

·        Ability to work closely with all members of the marketing team as well as internal stakeholders & external partners

·        Agency experience and/or management of the partnership an asset

·        Knowledge and experience in digital/social media engagement, strategy, execution, analytics & growth

·        Experience with leading/managing people including direct reports

·        Strong analytical skills

·        A high level of proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

·        Experience working with diverse external stakeholder groups
